Does the Grizzl-E Charger use a Neutral Wire?

The Grizzl-E Classic, Grizzl-E Smart, and Grizzl-E Duo do not use a Neutral Wire and only uses L1, L2, Ground.

The NEMA 14-50 plug has 4 pins one for neutral however this neutral wire has been terminated and is not used by the charger. 

This is permitted under the National Electrical Code (NEC)
