What Amperage should I set the DIP switches to?

You should set the DIP switch amperage settings based on the rating of the circuit breaker rather than the vehicle. 

 

The maximum current settings must be set to 80% of the circuit breaker rating or lower:

 

Circuit Breaker Rating	Maximum Charging Station Output
50A	40A (9.6 kW)
40A	32A (7.68 kW)
30A	24A (5.76 kW)
20A	16A (3.84 kW)

 

 

The vehicle will not accept more current than it can take. The charger and vehicle communicate with each other to establish the maximum that the charger can give and the vehicle can accept.

 

We recommend keeping the charger at the maximum current for the circuit breaker.
