The Charging speed will vary according to the maximum current output, the vehicle, and other factors such as the outdoor temperature.
Grizzl-E EV Chargers will add the following miles to the battery range after charging for 1 hour:
Amperage Setting | Miles Added Per Hour |
80A | 60-70 (100 -112 km) |
48A | 38-42 (61-67 km) |
40A | 31-35 (50-56 km) |
32A | 24-28 (39-45 km) |
24A | 17-21 (27-33 km) |
16A | 11-15 (17-23 km) |
BEVs and PHEVs will have their own total battery range. Each Make and Model will list the battery range in their specifications. The typical battery range is 200-400 miles for a BEV and 50-100 miles for a PHEV. The battery range can also vary depending on the age of the battery, outdoor temperature, and frequent rapid accelerations.
For example, a battery with a total range of 230 Miles charging at 40A will take approximately 7 hours to charge from empty to full.
