What is the difference between OCPP Smart Features and Local Smart Features?

Grizzl-E Ultimate has a choice between two smart features.

OCPP

• Access the charger’s smart features through the Grizzl-E Connect App for iOS or Android.
• Smart features can be accessed from anywhere if the charger is online.
• Complete usage history.

OCPP Smart Settings will override Local Smart Features if enabled. For example if a charging schedule is set in the Grizzl-E Connect app, any schedules set in Local Smart features will no longer apply.

Use OCPP if you have a strong Wi-Fi signal at the charger and want smart features such as scheduling and complete charging history tracking.

Local Smart Features

• Access the charger’s smart features through the charger’s local Wi-Fi network.
• Must be within Wi-Fi range of the charger to access smart features.
• Usage history is limited to the last 4 charging sessions.

Use Local Smart Features if you have no Wi-Fi or weak Wi-Fi signal at the charger.
