Charging Gun Stuck in Vehicle

If the charging gun is stuck in the vehicle and you are having a difficult time removing follow this procedure:

Step 1:

Ensure you have enabled all the unlocking mechanisms on your vehicle’s end. Consult your vehicle user manual to see if there is a release mechanism.

Step 2:

Push and hold the release button down. While holding the release button, push the gun forward into the car as far as possible. Continue holding the button down, and push down on the back end of the gun and try moving the cable from one side to another.

Step 3:

Using a flat-headed screwdriver, try prying up the silver latch to help release the front clip of the charging gun.

If you need to complete this step to remove the charging gun:

1. Do not re-insert the charging gun into the vehicle.
2. Fill out the Technical Support Form. 
3. Include photos of the charging gun including the latch, serial number, and model number of the charging gun.
